Surrounded by the villa’s private gardens, lavender fields, olive groves, and breathtaking lake views, you’ll explore botanical printmaking, mixed media techniques, and layered color compositions, all while indulging in the flavors and culture of Italy.

This Etching Retreat introduces beginners, to etching with copper plates. The workshop is also suitable for those with some experience and wish to brush up their skills. Participants will learn how to transfer drawings onto copper, use line, mark-marking techniques and tone, such as aquatint, and print their etched plates using an etching press. Participants can expect to take home a small edition of prints. Come with a sketch for your print or get inspiration by wandering around the village, or the Villa gardens.
